we are just starting to have roads cutting everywhere but south in the state things are dire. all safe here - I hope all other QLD and NSW 365ers are safe too. the fungi is loving it and so are the frogs!
A fabulous collage! We watched the news last night and saw the chaos all that rain has been causing. At least you are higher up and safe. Crossing fingers that it will soon be over for the rest of NSW.
Thank goodness you're safe, such a bummer for so many others. I do wish Mother Nature would spread it around better. We're soooo dry here! Terrific collage, each image tells a story
@robz oh it's flooding now, I've been getting texts all day from council warning of the moderate flooding - not quite houses floating away however, so I'm grateful. stay safe up there Rob!
@koalagardens It's seems to be changing so quickly in some areas. I hope you stay above the flood levels and can get some sleep tonight without worrying. We seem to be OK for now - fingers crossed.
Thanks also Jackie @30pics4jackiesdiamond for your kind wishes.
@robz@30pics4jackiesdiamond@elatedpixie I live up on a high ridge so am 'safe' from floods (I know never to buy land in a flood area!)
but I'm pretty much cut off from most places now, will be cut of from more in the morning.
but the thing that doesn't get shown on the news is the long story - the drought we went through denuded the landscape, then the rain we have had since has brought weeds to an all time high, and the soil was so exposed that the washing away of areas is just unbelievable.
it is quite devastating
now saying that, I am safe, truly, but the impact on the landscape here is just devastating. thank you all, this place is truly my refuge and happy place 💚💚💚
Lovely collage. Good to hear you are safe. We are okay too, no rivers etc near us just tons of rain coming down. We were out for dinner this evening and we had to manoeuvre the car around so many potholes in the road on the way to the restaurant.
A lovely collage showing the impact of your dire weather.
Good to hear you are high up and away from the worst but so sad to hear of the devastation it's causing.
I'm glad to see you are safe and well. I was wondering if the drought would have an effect of the soil which I see it has. I know you are resourceful and well prepared and I pray you and your "wild" neighbors will continue to stay well until the rain stops and the waters subside. Until then- great weather collage!
@terryliv ain't that the truth! and tomorrow here it is to stop and the temperature will fly up well over 30, so how much fungi that hasn't yet sprouted is going to appear? ugh
soggy here but safe

Saw the news about your rain. I'm glad you are safe.
Strange how we here in the southern hemisphere rejoice when it rains
