a different dragon eye

The eye on this dragon(fly) is as mesmerising as the one on the water dragon yesterday!
I am determined to document the other wildlife on the property better this year. Thank you for the lovely comments and awesome questions on my photos.

there have been many dragonflies hovering around the pool these last few very hot days - they are too fast for me to get a photo as it is too hot to hang around outside patiently waiting for a good shot hahaha

@annied I was lucky enough to find a spot where I was in the shade, but there was light on the dragonfly. I would have melted otherwise!
