Hop Bush by koalagardens

Hop Bush

Dodonaea viscosa (Hop Bush) is a native that I have planted along 1km of property boundary with a host of other natives. We removed the fence completely to make a wildlife safe boundary. These look like flowers but are actually the hops, or seed heads. So pretty!
Don't think I've ever seen hops before, although I know what they are. Nice image!

It is so very beautiful and totally different from the hops I know which is used for brewing beer. Love the colours and light.

I'm reading the comments above - so this flower has nothing to do with beer?

Oh my, I know your fence/plant line is lovely. I’m assuming this is the hops used in brewing beer?
