Fruits of my labour by laroque

Fruits of my labour

When we bought our house, planting quick-growing plants seemed like a bright idea. Ten years on, I am reaping the rewards of impatience. I spent most of today in the garden, hacking away at shrubs and shredding the waste for the compost bins. Particularly photogenic waste was put aside on the garden table for an end-of-day photo shoot. I think I have got at least two weeks work ahead of me, so there may be similar photos to come.
Wonderful collection of colours and shapes!

A very autumnal 🎨 palette. Are they pomegranates in the waste?

@yorkshirekiwi Actually I kept the pomegranates, either for eating or for further photo fun.

Beautiful colours & textures....well worth the effort for the shot & the rewards of the garden looking it's best (I have been on a similar mission the last few weekends)
