Now that I'm looking at this I'm wondering a few things. First of all I'm wondering what I'm doing with my right pinkie finger, and do I always do that???!
Also I'm wondering what other people do with their lens caps while taking pics. I typically hold it like that, but now I'm thinking I should have put it in the pocket of my snazzy blue robe.
What a great shot but you made me giggle when you wondered what you did with your pinkie finger!! I love it!!! I always loose my lens cap, I end up setting it down and forgetting....and it seems to always find its way home....sometimes it is in pockets!
Maybe that's the way elegant people hold their pinkie when taking a shot. You know, like when you drink tea?
As for the lens cap, I do the same thing to keep it from swinging in front of the lens when I'm taking a downward type shot. It becomes a habit after awhile.
My lens cap is attached to my camera with a string that came in the kit. I clip it to the strap. I used to put it in my back pocket cause I have a habit of forgetting it. But then I sat on it more than once and it broke. Hahaha!
Great selfie, Lauren. Love the humor in it, too. I usually put my lens cap in my pocket, or if I'm in the car, I put it on the console between the seats.

I use "cap keepers". Apparently one can DIY themselves some, but I just buy from a camera shop (under $5, pretty sure). Note to self: take photo of me wearing cherub bathrobe.
