I was stuck for ideas and so this idea was something I saw recently and decided to try. It was easier to do than I though it would be, but It was hard to decide on the editing.
I'm not very good with "curves" etc yet, so for this one I think I ended up using "auto-enhance", sharpening, and of course cropping.
Lauren this a magnificent I woould love to "steal" this idea from you but wouldn't know where to start. This is not your usual style so well done for giving it a go & getting such a great result - awesome
@spthorne lol you're right this isn't my usual style at all...it's much too bright and I think it looks a little bit strange but it was fun to try. just some vegetable oil in water, with a piece of paper under it which i coloured with some pastel crayons.

@laurentye Thanks Monday is good thanks not working today so left lots of joibs to do as you know I'm well trained!!! Well done with this one & thanks for letting me know how to do it. I may get the courage one day great shot though. Off to do the hoovering & ironing etc in 10 min :-(
@laurentye haha I'm between jobs at the moment not starting the new one until 2 May so will have had a month off by the time I start. However I do like the housework in hoovering, ironing etc but not cooking I'm rubbish at that - however please dont tell Fiona she may not read this post - unlikely
@spthorne hahaha :D oh no that's too bad cooking is so fun! but I'm sure Fiona is happy that you like to hoover and iron! i still haven't cleaned the house yet, like planned! i better do that soon, running out of time, lol
