18 years ago I rented this movie - "Fire in the Sky" because a boy named Mark in my fifth grade class told me is was soooo good. Well I never did watch it because I was terrified even by the picture on the box. Recently I saw that it was on Netflix, and so finally after all this time I actually watched it with my husband. (this TV is also 18 years old!).
It wasn't as bad as I thought. There were a few suspenseful moments, but I only had to cover my eyes a few times!
I should mention it was only a few years ago that I got over my fear of "E.T." - though I still think he's creepy looking. I guess I really just do not like alien movies.
I remember when this came out on VHS, my parents rented it for us thinking it would be ok and all that. But then.....we had nightmares for weeks. And now I can't remember much of it. Glad you finally got around to watching it! :)

OMG i am TERRIFIED of ET too! i watched it as a kid and woke up SCREAMING in the middle of the night. when my mom asked me what was wrong i sobbed "E.T's finger .... " ... *shudder*
@ilovephoto hahaha that is so funny that i found another person that thinks ET is scary! yes his fingers are sooo creepy and that part near the biginning when it's night time and his head pops out of the long grass -arrrgg hate it!! so funny
