Busy Bug

I found this busy little lady bug and he or she looked like they were in such a hurry to get to the top. This will sound strange but although I strongly dislike insects, I always feel bad for them at the start of autumn. I worry that they won't get everything they need to get done finished before winter and won't hibernate (or whatever they do) in time...

Today is officially the first day of fall and I hope everyone has a lovely weekend!

Yeh they hibernate overwinter. The lady they're named after is Mary, i.e the mother of Jesus and in England centuries ago they used to be called Our Lady's bug.
