I've been really wanting spicy food for several weeks now, but we never have any at home since my husband isn't really a big fan of it. But tonight after doing some errands, we went to a nearby East Indian restaurant to satisfy my craving. I've never been here before but had heard about it from friends, so I'm glad I got to try it.
I'm more like your husband, Lauren. However compromise is always good and I hope that you both had a great night out and enjoyed yourselves. Wonder atmosphere in your photo.
And was it as good as you hoped it would be? It certainly looks an appealing interior with all the lamps, carved chairs and subdued lighting effects. Was the food as spicy looking as the lanterns?
@sabresun@cfitzgerald it was pretty good. the only small disappointment was that what I REALLY wanted was vegetable samosas (my fav), and the ones at this place were more like spring rolls or something. but the rest was great!
