Shetland Times

Quite difficult to plan a series of photos of shop fronts in Lerwick due to the narrowness of Commercial Street. The Shetland Times Bookshop is probably at its widest point so a good place to start.  A good bookshop it is as well - not as big as Waterstones and the like - with a good selection of relevant wildlife and local books
I have bought several books from them by phone from home and they have always between very helpful

Looks cozy. Love the holiday lights strung across the street. :-)

I know what you mean having been there, but a good challenge for you. You should put up a picture of the Christmas tree lighting that has caused many a comment from the Shetlanders on facebook, lol.

@callymazoo they have changed the lights now. I was watching them putting the tree up and you could tell early on that it was going wrong.

The bookshop looks like a warm refuge on a rainy night. Nice glowing windows.
