May was always a misty month during my first few years in Shetland back in the 80's. However as the years rolled by and seasons seemed to shift June and early July seemed to be more misty.
This year feels like old times however with plenty of mist swirling about to greet the tourists - provided they came by boat as planes were having problems today.
