This building is home to a company that manufactures and wholesales bird feeders and bird houses. They commissioned a local artist, Stephanie Boutari, to wrap the building in a mural. Boutari is known for both interior and exterior large-scale, brightly-coloured murals. The birds were created out of aluminum by her husband, who makes commercial furniture, and then painted by her. There are ten birds in total.
This mural is so unexpected in an otherwise bland and uninteresting light industrial area. I love the way the birds seem to pop off the wall, even though they are two-dimensional. You can find more details and images of the entire project here https://www.stephanieboutari.com/backyard-birding
This is a very attractive shot. I like the juxtaposition of bright colours and the colour gradients. The reading through the link you have provided is quite interesting, as it gives an idea of the whole project.
