This is a very boring picture of a very important event. This office has been my other home for the last 12 years, and today was my last day. I have decided to “rewire” (not retire) and intentionally scale back. I’m going to take the summer off, and then look for part-time consulting work. This is also why I’ve been so neglectful of commenting and interacting the last couple of months. It was all I could do to get everything finished and get the new person up to speed.
This was absolutely the right decision, and I was really, REALLY ready, but it’s still bittersweet. I will miss my people and the wonderful work we did together.
Onwards from here! More hikes, more photos, more time. Can’t wait.
A nice way to record this significant turning point in your life. I did similar about 10 years ago and it was totally the right decision for me and my hubby. I love the work I do helping people now.
Love "rewire"! A difficult decision I'm sure, there's a whole new life out there for you, with the wisdom of DelBoy 'the world's your lobster' go grab it!!!
Oh it's not a boring picture, balanced composition and great tones
Not boring, once you hear the story. Transitions, even if wanted, are almost always difficult but it sounds like you are set for a wonderful time ahead, even if you are leaving good memories behind.
Actually, I kind of like it! Yes, I'd probably do a few tweaks but I do love the light coming through the window. Best wishes to you on all your new endeavors!! And happy photo opps ahead!

It’s actually eye catching in black and white 💙
