Always sad to see, but I remember this being a problem at some intersections when we lived there.

It is a difficult thing to be and to see. Those that 'claim' the territory at the intersections un-nerve me.

But I did rather like the happenstance of the big arrow on the road, directing attention to the gentleman.....
