Cold and windy at lunchtime, but with a sky that was almost painfully blue. Perfect for B&W and the "Anesl Adams Dark Sky"* treatment. Low angle, on my knees with camera held lower yet. Trying to catch the bending grasses... iPhone for that great wide angle. B&W conversion (and filter) added later at the computer. But my first pass yellow filter was actually TOO dark for my liking, so I switched to Orange.
I decided to add this to the "Eye of the Beholder" challenge, because a person would've thought I was crazy, on my knees in a field on a cold and windy day, angling my phone up through the whipping grasses, waiting for the clouds to block the sun.....
I know, more than you wanted to know about my "creative process".
*I doubt Ansel Adams "invented" the technique, but that's where I first remember seeing it, and reading about his work is where I discovered the secret (filters).
