Old Man River

Illinois River, near the Brussels Ferry North Dock. Looking downstream towards Grafton, IL, where the Illinois meets up with the Mississippi River.

This spot is a "pull off" along the Great River Road, here's GPS coordinates if you're ever in the area! :-)

This gave me a huge sense of déjà vu. It very much ressembles Paimpont Lake! Larger, sure, but certainly a resemblance of 'our' lake.
