Restoration

Had a nice visit to the St. Louis Art Museum today, Primary goal was to see the exhibit
Poetics of the Everyday: Amateur Photography, 1890–1970, which I enjoyed very much. In the lobby of the museum, they are restoring a 350 ft long panorama painting. Kind of performance art, I suppose. I had to catch a moment... very fascinating!

That’s a wonderful capture. I agree the process is performance art, would love to watch those two restorers work.

@shannejw @louannwarren @momamo @koalagardens Thanks all! Now that you mention it, I can see the "sitting on lap" illusion. The gentleman leaned back right as I snapped the photo, not much I could do.
