oh how lovely - I keep hoping mine have seeds in the bottom of my dry dam and that one day it will fill again and the lilies bloom. I had a species of miniature frog, so I also hope they burrowed deep and will survive to emerge when rain comes next year.

Lovely colour. Have you ever had frogs? My mother adores them. She finally realised you have to have somewhere that is gently sloped right down to the water so they could get in and out. I remember as a child, she used to go and collect them from the road outside when she saw one and bring them home to our pond! Smiling at the memory.
