on the beach, like this oystercatcher. The other birds are close by, but these keep their distance.

@olivetreeann the debris is actually very beautiful bits of seaweed and kelp that have been washed ashore. There were still a few little mussels attached, I guess that was the reason for being there ;-)

@ludwigsdiana I probably should have typed in kelp- I didn't see debris as a negative thing here (such as litter)- but it does have that feeling to it, doesn't it?
