The old Church by ludwigsdiana

The old Church

of Tulbagh was built in 1743, one of the four early churches in the Cape Province. The others were in Cape Town, Stellenbosch and Paarl. The gable was added later. The Lion of Judah looks down on us, paws to the front. This is the only church remaining of the original four and is more or less in its original form.
The church looks like a new one. Amazing, this historical church is almost 300 years old. The design of the building is so nice. Great capture and it tells a story.
