and all seem to have left the olive grove. There are two more here on the estate and I will have to check it out. As I was out looking for them, one suddenly took off over the olive trees. I was lucky to get this shot.
I have never watched them this closely, but have realized that there are times when about 40 are here, other times none.
Fabulous capture. How wonderful to have so many visiting. We have a family living in the open plots across the road from us. The youngster is nearly the same size as the parents. All three are quite skittish - probably due to the number of cats that seem to be around and stalking them.
Mad skills to have been able to catch this one in flight! So unusual to see it in the air instead of on the ground. This is a spectacular photo, Diana.
