Travelling up Central Otago towards Queenstown where we will spend the next week, I stopped to take a picture of this tiny miner's cottage on the other side of this man-made lake called Lake Dunstan. It was towards evening and there is a front approaching that may bring snow! We are hunkering down!
@northy Yes, I think so too, looking at it. But if I reduced the exposure the lake looked fine but the rocky mountainside was almost totally black! Thanks for your comments, Northy!
@marlboromaam@suelaubscher@boogie@suelaubscher@karenann Thank you all for such splendid comments! Away from home, it seems such a family of 365!. I appreciate your support but mainly like tot lock in with your photos! It is a travelogue through so many countries in time and history!
Very lonely & rugged route you are taking & that miners cottage such a remote spot live in. I have never been to Queenstown but one day !! Look forward to those photos!
