I chose this scene as it displays a lovely picture given to us from our son who bought it at a market in Zambia. He is still there flying planes all over the place - Africa. The picture is of a bicyclist on his way to sell nuts and stopping for a pancake type food at this lady's place
He was the first person I followed on 365! One of his photos was my first FAV. I miss his posts. I figured since he was a pilot in Zambia that it was too much of a coincidence for him to be the son you were referring to.
@jsw0109 He was the reason I started! I think he found the internet so difficult - took 2 hours to load a photo - so he stopped. He doesn't communcate much as adult sons do not!

Awesome selfie, Maggie and I love the whole natural setting---you enjoying a cup of coffee or tea in your lovely kitchen, etc. The painting your son gave you is a real treasure and goes so well with your decor.
Aw lovely photo maggie and great picture.. never been to Zambia .. well not quite.. might have flown onto that side with an NZ pilot back in the late 70's early 80's with my Mum at Kariba. Seems there are quite a few Kiwis up in Africa :-)
Well maggiemae this has stirred up some comments ....51 to scroll down before I reach the bottom!! I do like to see into peoples lives too & it looks like everyone else does! Love your home ,it looks modern, airy & homely. Nice to see you too & do you think I might recognise you if we ever bumped into each other in NZ ? Perhaps if I get down your way we could meet up!
