This is a glass paperweight I have had and I put a photo I had taken in a farmyard some years ago into the bottom. If you have a tidy desk, you don't need a paper weight but if you are sitting outside reading the newspaper in the wind, it is invaluable!
@marlboromaam@karenann That photo was taken with an expensive film camera Minolta (before digital). This camera was sold at a fraction of the price we paid for it! It was very bulky and heavy!
omg, that is too funny! At first I thought that was a pie tin! How cool is that, the photo and the paperweight photo are both great photos! Good one Maggiemae!
Maggiemae, you have some wonderful photos, and thank you so much for the follow however, this will be my last posting for several weeks. I need to take a break as I have so much going on. I plan to return. than ks again.
Was wondering how you did this when I saw this photo at first! Lovely homely picture makes it this paper weight very special !! Beautiful farmyard scene.
What a delightful piece! My desk is generally a mess and I use anything handy for a paper weight, like a stapler or a tape holder. My paper weights on the other hand are on display on one of my famous shelves and never used...go figure ;-) I really like how this is displayed against the black background.
heheh I was racking my brain to work out how you processed this! It was pre not post processing :))) Beautifully done and shot Maggie, that flash of red really pops on him doesn't it?
