We stayed at an old rural hotel last night after the wedding ukelele performance and though the inside of the hotel was beautifully renovated, the windows were so filthy that the camera would not focus on anything but the spiders and dirt! The old sash windows didn't lift easily and John had to lever one open and hold it in order for me to get this shot! It was even earlier than my last sunrise shot! That was why I climbed out of a warm bed to investigate this cold morning in reality!
It sounds like it was an interesting place to stay, and hopefully the renovations will fix some of that. In spite of all that, you captured a nice colorful photo.
And I know they are cold mornings now..Ant & Jo have their fire on.........you tough NZers don't bother about a sticking window & thank goodness it didn't put you off...stunningly beautiful with such glowing colours!!
@yonnie Thanks Yvonne! Glad it turned out so well. I did see a shot with 3 birds on the tip of a tree against this sky but by the time I got my camera out - they had flown away!
A fav!
