Through the gates by maggiemae

Through the gates

A major crop on this photo improved the focus - not on the camera focus which wasn't brilliant but the mind focus. Through these gates is a lovely red seat just waiting to be sat on.

It is a public garden called the Garden of Memories and perhaps the thinking done on this seat brings back lots of good ones!
Great processing -- I'd enjoy sitting on that red bench and thinking about all the things I never have time to think about.

Great photo, my first impression was it reminded me of the grounds of a psychiaatric hospital but maybe that's because of the building behind it, I'm not really sure why :)
April 16th, 2013
@bradles07 I can almost see where you are coming from - as they say! The building behind is the RSA building and the rooms of the Bowling Club!

Beautiful shot, Maggiemae. Love the way you have isolated the scene against a white background.

@wordpixman thanks Authur - what happened was the walls were Oamaru stone which is white so when I cropped it the whole frame became white
