Home again and getting jobs done one by one. Downloaded my video and this is one frame when John was speaking at the Motorbike Event. I have got more particular about focus and composition now with 365 and am disappointed in my movies which appear not clear and sharp. You don't have setting options with this movie camera - it just takes the video when you press the button.
Three good things;
1. Almost unpacked.
2. Now able to type on a keyboard.
3. Have both pink and yellow rhododendrons out.
I know it is difficult to accept, however this particular shot is about sharing a special moment for you and is not about it being a competition quality picture. Thanks for sharing this with us!
You can see that John is enjoying himself - and the other man's expression shows that he is enjoying John's speech and I bet everyone else there did too. You've got the feeling of the moment here - well caught.
It must be such a thrill for him to talk about his Dad with people who have such a love for the same thing. I'm sure you were so happy for him. I think it's a fabulous shot, Maggiemae.
I think it is a great shot of him. But I know what you mean about becoming more particular about what and how you shoot. Too bad the world doesn't cooperate with us.
There's no place like home! Glad you had a great vacation though. I get frustrated with how to take video with my DSLR too! I am not sure how the focus works...not sure if it will autofocus or if I have to manual focus.
