My husband wanted to call this 'cash crop" but thats not very artistic! I liked the strength of the stems to hold the heads up so well!
Three good things;
1. In spite of the computer turning itself on after midnight and playing the one tune for several hours, I did sleep well!
2. The wax-eyes (birds) have discovered the raspberries but I've beaten them to it.
3. Good and hopefully supporting telephone call to John's daughter in Manchester who is having her first chemo treatment today.
@yonnie Thanks Yvonne - she is being very practical about it all - has always had very long hair and now she has cut it short. Planning to shave it off before it falls out! So many people are touched by this awful breast cancer!
@maggiemae Breast cancer has touched so many. My brother-in-law (age 56) was just diagnosed with throat cancer and started agressive chemo. Seems to be helping as his tumor has started to shrink. Cancer is awful.
Definite fav. I love how the green just pops out at me and the stems are so interesting to look at! I think you should frame this and hang it on your wall!
What a crisp image. I agree with you. It really has its strength! A computer turned on in the midnight? and singing? There must be someone snores that trigger it - haha
@happypat I wondered that to - about PP. There's a guy called Arefin who often gets 40-50 favs and is not on PP for all of his. However it's pretty amazing to get such a good result for this picture! Makes me feel so happy!
Such a lovely composition (great neg. space!) and a fab. painterly look to it too. Love the crispness and the fresh colours. Fav
Btw, I saw the comments above re. PP and TT. This article Ross wrote explains the ins and outs of the way they work : http://365project.org/blog/behind-the-scenes-of-365-project
@heidihp I wish I knew, Heidi! I had a picture in my mind and just tried to get it looking like that and it just happened after a lot of experiments! Thanks!
I hope John's daughter does okay with her chemo.
I think you could also tag it for the weekly theme twisted http://365project.org/blog/weekly-theme-twisted
I'm praying for John's daughter.

Hope the chemo is successful!
I hope her chemo goes well.
