Cedrat by maggiemae

Cedrat

I prowled around the house looking for inspiration...can I find it? 'Course I can'! I found it in 'Corsica..n' Cedratine is an aperitif made from the Cedrat fruit. The cedrat is in fact a cedrat lemon. It is not a true lemon although it is related to both lemons and limes. The Cedrat liqueur made in Corsica is quite rare outside of Corsica.

This is a miniature bought in Corsica when we were cruising through.

Three good things;
1. This miniature was not broken into like many of our older ones - two young sons decided to have a sip of about 15 when we were out! This night of revelry ended up with a hole in the ceiling - from high jinks!
2. I never thought I would do what others do - run out of battery time when set up for a good photo away from home- now I know I can do this so will be doubly careful
3. Saw a wee Blue penguin last night on my non photo shoot down at the Harbour. Blooming tourists were taking photos with a flash and that is totally forbidden. I told them!
Beautiful capture.

@phil_howcroft There would have to be very good reason, Phil! Perhaps I'll scoff the lot and then suggest that we have to go back to Corsica to get some more!
