I have arisen too! ....and fairly early as our painter arrives early and can see in our windows as he paints! This is one of several thermomenters we have inside the house to see if we need to, either put more clothes on, turn up the heating, open the doors or just sigh and say, this is just right!
Three good things:
1. Centigrade and Farenheit on this scale.
2. Glad I had some ibuprofen in the drawer as my back has gone out - where, I do not know!
3. Mastered the skipping rope - now can do 35 times without tripping.
Wow, that's really a cool shot :-) I need to find a jump rope. I think we have one here somewhere. I used to love jump roping. Hope your back is better !

If I took up skipping rope, I'd have more than a bad back -- I couldn't do it as a kid, always tripped and fell, so I know it would be even worse now! Anyway, hope your back is better soon. And temps continue to rise -- but isn't it fall where you are with winter coming?
I love that they have thermometers like this as so many of us live in different areas and have to look up what temps are. Cool shot. I hope your back gets better. Maybe it is the jumping rope but sounds like a fun thing to do.
@maggiemae - that's interesting. because i can walk all day and not feel any pain but getting up from sitting for even 30 minutes and my whole body creaks like it's going to crumble into a pile of whatever. maybe if i start walking now, i can be in oamaru by Christmas. ☺
Nice shot, Maggiemae! Send some of that warmth to me please! Sorry to hear about your back. I know pain ... 24/7. All I can say is Yay for pharmaceuticals! I'd probably be bed bound without them. I hope your back comes back to you soon.
