I found these winter roses hiding under a bush and thought they deserved a showing. More learning experience with the camera alternating speed and aperture to get the right effect.
Three good things:
1. Hardly ever shoot on auto now.
2. I get lots of exercise with photography - down on the floor then up again.
3. Invited to 'open' a new kitchen in our old house! I had to make a speech and forgot the guy's name!
This is a very elegant arrangement .......a beautiful winter bouquet! Rather unusual rose......looks quite a wild variety. I thought it was a type of clematis at first!
I am in awe of you with the manual workings!
How beautiful and nicely arranged! I can relate to #3...As I was introducing one friend to another, I called one of them by his son's name! I had just said hi to the son...I was mortified!
This looks beautiful -- love the soft colors and focus. And, I have a pewter picture like this one, only I think it's quite a bit smaller as yours looks like it's holding quite a large bouquet.
Such beautiful flowers and a great shot, Maggiemae. I got a new camera and will be learning to shoot in Manual. Since I am at home a lot I will have to find something to take photos of.
