Irish waterways

25mins walk down the road brought me to the "Grand Canal". Very pretty - not like the Grand Canal in Venice though. There was a lock here so it is used for boating.

Three good things;
1. A gorgeous day in Ireland - one of the best we were told.
2. In the hotel there was a huge party for a funeral - music, champagne, laughter - thats the way to go!
3. Fun in the cocktail bar.
