I can’t believe I got all this in one photo! I turned around from our deck outside this wonderful seaside cabin and photographed what I could see! There seems to be three images here which we can’t explain The bedroom is obvious, the sunset is reflected but on the side, we have a wheel that seems to be ‘Sadies” …our Mercedes! Which is way outside the area!
I think I've managed to do a multiple exposure which I didn't believe possible with my camera!
Three good things:
1. I forgot to recharge my camera but it seemed to be Ok with the GPS going when I was in the most amazing places in the world (called my home territory) In the top of the Coromandel where the access was a winding road, gravel and very narrow!.
2. We picnicked in a beautiful wide and sandy beach where there was one couple walking on the beach and it wasn’t us! Our GPS told us that we were the most northern land area on the Coromandel
3. We picked the best lemon on the bush outside our unit - a “meyer” and so juicy! It went with our cocktails while viewing the sunset - hey - try vermouth with blackcurrant liqueur! I’ll have to think of a name for this one!
Sort of posh camping Maggiemae, it all sounds very exciting & so different to sleep in a seaside cabin. You must have been like a couple of children camping out in the garden! This is a brilliant photo to see exactly all round you......the setting sun gives a cosy glow!
white wine with blackcurrant liqueur is called "kir" so since vermouth is a main ingredient for martini, why don't you call it a "kirtini"? :-) fabulous shot you got here. are those windows behind the bed or framed artwork/photograph? i love that the setting sun and the water are reflected, too! did i say it's a fabulous shot? i did! because it is!
This looks like a comfortable, delightful place! How wonderful to be able to pick the lemons. We used to make lemonade from Meyer lemons when we lived in Florida ...They are the best lemons that I've ever had.
Not only you got the wheels of Sadie in there, but also some jean clad legs (!), and a curb with bright pink flowers in your bedroom!! Love the unintended multiple exposure....so much to see here, and I keep finding more random objects the more I look at it!! And, yes, Meyer lemons are the very best! I had two of those trees in my backyard when I moved into my house in California, and no other lemon has ever tasted as good....they are sweet and sour at the same time, and very thin skinned!
@panthora Thanks Osia, yes there are lots in this multiple exposure that was not intended. The lemons were actually thick skinned but very tender. Don't know enough about lemons - tried to grow them but they don't want to know!
