Summer is better in February here and the Beach Family Day out worked well with a Batman challenge where they dress up and jump off the wharf!
This is an ice-cream shop which was doing so well today with sun, families and a beautiful beach just opposite!
Three good things:
1. We restrained ourselves from having an ice-cream!
2. Smoked salmon and cream cheese entree courtesy of our friends giving us their freezer stuff!
3. Held the ladder ( James, James) while John trimmed the climbing roses!
What could be better than ice cream on a warm summer day! I can't believe you refrained from having some. You have more will power than I would have had.
Looks idyllic. We have had a very mild weekend here, with people eating outside on restaurant patios yesterday, but the full delights of summer are still a long way ahead.
Love the composition of the shot and that ice cream looks inviting! I admire your restraint in not having one! However, with smoked salmon and cream cheese who needs ice cream? LOL love the reference to the song in number three!
Mmmm, NZ ice cream. And chocolate!! I like this scene. It makes me wonder what is off the the left that 3 of the 4 people are looking at. Was that the beach?
