Yoga 1 and Yoga 2 by maggiemae

Yoga 1 and Yoga 2

Spent most of the day trying to photograph a picture on the computer There are problems of criss cross circles and noise but took on board some ideas to increase ISO and increase (or decrease) the speed to capture the rendering of the screen. There were speeds recommended but none worked really well
"The easiest way to do that is to set your camera to its shutter priority mode (usually indicated by an "S") and use the camera controls to change the shutter speed until you see a speed of 1/15, 1/20, or 1/25 in the viewfinder."

Here I have put the real picture on the right (taken from copying the genuine) beside my photo capture on the left. You can see the problem.

The idea was to give an image of a wonderful scene on the ship when we are on it. Getting up at dawn and up on top deck to do some yoga, breathe in some fresh air and tone the body!

Three good things;
1. Fun with challenges.
2. I still haven’t solved the problem so hoping there will be some ideas….
3. I wish I’d made pikelets with jam and cream on top….but…. trying to lose weight - lost 3kilos so far!
We did yoga on the beach in the Bahamas. Super work with your edit!

Like looking through a screen. I was thinking that your right was the correction with the edit.

Well done!

There's not a doubt my mind you would figure it out. Have some mad skills Maggiemae. What are Pikelets? They sound delicious but congratulations on losing weight by not eating them.

@grammyn Pikelets are really just a small pancake but made very quickly and eaten just as quickly! Generally served with jam and cream. I haven't figured this problem out, though, Katy but thanks for your faith!

@maggiemae they sound delicious. You'll get it l am certain.
March 30th, 2016
Can't help you with the technical stuff- wish I could though. Could help you with the pikelets however, that is if I was nearby.
March 30th, 2016
who is that eye candy over there? gorgeous! :-)
March 30th, 2016
and pikelets make me hungry now.
March 30th, 2016
@summerfield I thought that too, Vikki! But I think he knows this...!
March 30th, 2016
Interesting challenge, suspect it has something to do whit the frequency of the display. I've used a screen capture (in 'FastStone' ) then save the image. Hmmmm... Good luck.

Methinks the yoga might be easier than taking a photo from the PC monitor! You must be getting very excited about your trip.
March 30th, 2016
Now you can run a challenge like this.
March 30th, 2016
@sdutoit Thank you so much Sylvia for going to the trouble to find this! I have bookmarked it to read in when I have a good time put aside. And, @yaorenliu You could suggest it if you want, Yao!
March 30th, 2016
@jaffacakes Methinks you are right, Julie! I keep reading anything I can about the trip, the ship and where we dock!
March 30th, 2016
Thank goodness for Sylvia she was obviously a great help which is more than can be said for me! I wouldn't have clue. At the moment I am definitely joining the 'more I learn the less I know' group. Well done you for loosing the weight. Planning for your trip must be so exciting.

Lovely comparison.
March 30th, 2016
Yeah I hear you but sorry that I cannot help
March 30th, 2016
wow! early morning yoga on board a cruise ship! You sure are energetic when on holiday
March 30th, 2016
I think you might need a faster speed, all you can do is experiment, still a good capture
March 30th, 2016
@maggiemae @thistle Glad I could help myself to! I am also one of the learners!
March 31st, 2016
You seem to have done a good job with the processing.
March 31st, 2016
@skstein Its better than it was but still looks as if you a looking at this scene through netting!
March 31st, 2016
I can't help with the problem, but I like the picture!
April 1st, 2016
@tristansmum Its something that when I have time, will experiment with. I like the discipline showed in this photo, Stephanie!
