Spent most of the day trying to photograph a picture on the computer There are problems of criss cross circles and noise but took on board some ideas to increase ISO and increase (or decrease) the speed to capture the rendering of the screen. There were speeds recommended but none worked really well
"The easiest way to do that is to set your camera to its shutter priority mode (usually indicated by an "S") and use the camera controls to change the shutter speed until you see a speed of 1/15, 1/20, or 1/25 in the viewfinder."
Here I have put the real picture on the right (taken from copying the genuine) beside my photo capture on the left. You can see the problem.
The idea was to give an image of a wonderful scene on the ship when we are on it. Getting up at dawn and up on top deck to do some yoga, breathe in some fresh air and tone the body!
Three good things;
1. Fun with challenges.
2. I still haven’t solved the problem so hoping there will be some ideas….
3. I wish I’d made pikelets with jam and cream on top….but…. trying to lose weight - lost 3kilos so far!
There's not a doubt my mind you would figure it out. Have some mad skills Maggiemae. What are Pikelets? They sound delicious but congratulations on losing weight by not eating them.
@grammyn Pikelets are really just a small pancake but made very quickly and eaten just as quickly! Generally served with jam and cream. I haven't figured this problem out, though, Katy but thanks for your faith!
Interesting challenge, suspect it has something to do whit the frequency of the display. I've used a screen capture (in 'FastStone' ) then save the image. Hmmmm... Good luck.
@sdutoit Thank you so much Sylvia for going to the trouble to find this! I have bookmarked it to read in when I have a good time put aside. And, @yaorenliu You could suggest it if you want, Yao!
Thank goodness for Sylvia she was obviously a great help which is more than can be said for me! I wouldn't have clue. At the moment I am definitely joining the 'more I learn the less I know' group. Well done you for loosing the weight. Planning for your trip must be so exciting.
