In the afore mentioned blizzard, Mr Man’s wings on his motorbike got covered in snow and he was sinking lower and lower in the sky! Yolanda saw this through the driving snow and jumped out rather cleverly to land on the back of the bike. Thus they both sank down into the deep NZ bush. There was no cell coverage.
This here was the moment the search team arrived on the scene and found these two quite safe in their little tent having made a fire, found a blanket and had apparently fallen into an exhausted sleep!
But we can see Mr Man was making jokes and Yolanda was laughing!
Meanwhile poor Alan was up there in the snowstorm still battling on unaware that he had no rear passenger!
Three good things;
1. Mr Man was a resourceful fellow!
2. A pair of short and elegant boots that I’ve had for a number of years dropped bits of heel everywhere. I contemplated getting a new heel (2) but then noticed the soles were holed all over! Tipping point!
3. Fish and chips on a Friday night worked well with my deep fryer it being a day of snow and freezing temperatures!
i hope it doesn't rain a lot seeing that they're right on the edge of the river or stream. good thing they're safe and the rescue team found them. are they getting married yet? :-)
Ooh dear ,what fun -- we have all been caught up in this fantasy tale - the valiant Mr Man and the scatty headed Yolanda have been found , but what next !! --
So brave of Yolanda to jump down to be with Mr. Man and you say Alan doesn't even realize he lost his passenger. will he be in for a surprise if and when he lands safely..
Such a fun creation in your image and your story. I have to confess that the thought of a day of snow and freezing temperatures sounds fabulous right now.
Our fearless duo make the most of a moment to themselves!
I read the last one first and was quite worried for them both.
