A colourful bird in an Aviary in Caroline Bay in the town of Timaru. Here for my sister's funeral which is going to be hard.
Three good things;
1. Being with family.
2. The decision to buy some more light socks - mine have had a hole in them for years!
3. An Indian meal which has repercussions the next day!
In my thoughts and prayers Maggie!! Just keep talking about your sister and she will always be there with you.There will of course be sad times but I am sure you have more happy memories to share with your family and friends!! Big hug!

It would seem I have missed the time of your sister's service and I should have some meaningful words of support for you since going through my own loss so recently but all I can do is Let you know I am still praying for you. Grieving is a process we must go through at our own pace and basically alone. Just know that we all care about you and are hurting for you.
Nice vivid plumage and good focus. He doesn't look too happy though about being photographed. Thinking of you today especially as you say farewell to your sister.
