Smooth waters

From a friend's place alongside the estuary in Christchurch we watched families making the most of the tidal flow. About 3km /hr and some of the visitors to this area worked the tidal flows to travel upwards to a cafe or picnic when the tide was coming in and back down when it turned.
Three Good Things:
1. Meeting up with friends and a daughter for lunch.
2. Lunch was gluten free and egg free for daughter's needs.
3. A roast pork dinner at the Club tonight - member's discounts.
