My mind is so full of what I need to take and what I must leave behind, I had no time to think… John wanted a photo of the shelf that is in the hall with appropriate lighting to commemorate John’s father, Burt Munro and his achievements! They want it for more story for about what is going to happen in the States where we set off in 3 days!
Three good things;
1. I know that a tripod is necessary for a back hallway with only overhead lighting.
2. Admiring so many good bird photos on 365.
3. If you feel you are going to sleep in the middle of a rugby match on TV, its good to come up with a “Oh dear,” or a ‘nasty fall’ now and then!
Love your memorabilia shelf... he certainly was a great man and you must be proud to call him your FIL.. look forward to your shots from the Salt Lakes..
I lived in Utah for 2 years -- you are going to one of the most beautiful areas in our country! I hope you have time to get to some of the national parks. @alyssakmac is traveling there now if you have a chance to look at her album.
Had to laugh at your #3 GT! You know how to play the game! Don't remember seing this shelf when we stayed! I have no idea how younwould begin to lack for all the time you're going to be away!
@happypat Only got 2 small suitcases each, Pat. Have decided we would wear the same thing every day until it got unbearable and then get it washed - staying inside for that day!
What a spectacular memory wall you have. Terrific shot of it. I'm so excited to think that you will be in my country but heartbroken that you will still be so very far away from me.
@grammyn Its sweet of you to think like that, Katy! It happens even in the tiny country of NZ - 365 people go swiftly through my town but the do have a schedule to get through!
@maggiemae As I have discovered, Delywn - having the battery power on your computer as well as being able to recharge the camera is vital. All different power over there! But got hopefully the right adapters.
Some awesome memorabilia there. You two are certainly jet setters these days. Enjoy your trip and I'll look forward to your photos. I presume you're going to the East of Canada and not near us.
Another trip! How exciting - I can't wait to see the photos. This is an awesome display of memorabilia. Have a fabulous and safe trip - good luck with the small suitcases - a great idea if you can manage it. Just as long as you have room for laptop and camera gear!
I had been thinking to tell you to bring your John Hamilton info- but my head is so full of camera club stuff lately I'm forgetting everything else. What a great shelf to honor Burt. And I can't wait to meet you!
