There were some cute houses around our block and I got some of them with my camera. Some even had gardens, but I liked the French Canadian architecture. Narrow houses with sloping roofs (for the snow, I expect)
Three good things:
1. A lazy day - read a whole book, mainly sitting high up on the roof amongst potted flowers and under the sun.
2. A deli called ’Seed to Sausage’ had some delicious soft potato bread and some spicy Italian salami for lunch - up on that roof!
3. Might be snow at home but the only white I see here are the whites of my husband’s eyes - when he sees me change my clothes!
no 3 made me laugh. Sounds like a great relaxing time you are having. The processing for your French Canadian architecture works a treat. Picture postcard.
Such charming houses - love the capture and edit . You seem to be having a superb time ! Love all you get up to "up on the roof " !! and your no3 really made me laugh !! -- don't excite the old man too much Maggie !! you may need that snow of home to cool him down !! LOL !!! FAV
How beautifully composed photo of this cute little house. I like your choice of processing that accents the nice light. It sounds like there's a lot going on up on that roof! I hope that's not where you saw the white of John's eyes!
I am so behind with the commenting, I see two or three of yours i have missed but I am so full on at the moment I am shattered at night. The family are away until Sunday tomorrow so willl try & tidy up & get a bit of relaxation in. Sounds like you have got it cracked! A book in a day on the roof, just bliss! Funny #3,
