The road to Zion took many twists and turns and through a couple of tunnels right through the enormous mountainside. Towering cliffs on either side and absolutely tons of cars and people walking.
Its a place where you need to trek on foot so we didn’t. My foot was still an aching problem from what I think was a spider bite.
Three good things;
1.At this resort which had a no vacancy sign out, we got a good deal - a suite overlooking the canyon.
2. There was a humming bird feeding station on our deck and I was able to get my first humming bird photo!
3. A wedding was held in the grounds; I got my camera out and was amused to see that the bride (not a young one but probably in her 40’s) had black trousers and black boots on under her fancy white wedding gown with a long train!
@happypat so nice to see your comment even though I know you ave been following me in spite of being so busy! I was rapt to see these birds being encouraged right outside our deck!
well done on the hummer - it will stay on my bucket list as they dont live here & I am always a touch 'jealous' of everyone's hummer shots! impressive shot!
I paid a brief visit to Zion a few years ago and was so impressed. Amazing place. I love your capture of the hummingbird. Interesting to see him not using his wings.
