This is the rental house we have in Las Vegas. Today there was no expeditions; we had no insurance organised yet for the car; son Jay had damaged his achilles tendon when he jumped into the pool (pools are dangerous!) and it was good to have swims all day with the family
Three Good Things:
1. Counted all the devices we had between us - 11 not counting the game one! Good grief!
2. The grandchildren are getting good at helping now.
3. We all played Black Jack together!
@happypat Actually all I have to do, Pat is raise my voice slightly and there is no confusion. Unfortunately Masami tends to give in to them all the time in spite of rules being set.
@grammyn Its ups and downs, Katy - grandson had been forbidden to use his Mum's iPhone, was found with it so his game boy was confiscated and he was not allowed to read in the car. I think his Dad, (our son) is gaining confidence with us around. But he was a grumpy 13 year old!
A lovely place to rent and enjoy a swim when ever you feel like it. yes pools can be dangerous in many ways. hope your son feels better soon. we spent last Saturday at our son's place. they gave a Family & Friends BBQ/Pool/Birthday Party for our little Henry. it wasn't pool weather, but the pool was heated and the younger crowd (all men had fun in the pool. a two year old boy was there too and he liked to be catapulted into the pool. just looking at it how he flew in an arc and splashed into the water was very scary. he loves it, of course he was wearing a floating devise, but still. 3 uncles and his dad were with him and they all took turns throwing the little one into the air. mom sat and watched. So I think it was safe enough.
@bruni Oh, I don't think its safe at all Bruni! The little ones always love being thrown in the air and its ok from within the pool but too many things can happen from the side!
Sounds like a day off was "just what the doctor ordered"! It can be really nice to just hang out once in a while. Great for family bonding. I hope the tendon has mended and all is well now. Nice "real estate" shot!
Very OOOOOps! Very YES! Thank you....
