On the West Coast still at Westport and our camp is the NZCMZ one right by the beach which is littered with driftwood. The blurb did say we have to be prepared to evacuate if a storm comes through!
Three Good Things:
1 On the way down at a lunch stop, an elderly labrador spied us and with me, he pawed my back. He pawed John's leg too but still didn't get any food. He was so excited as he had a special coat on that he wears when going duck shooting!
2. Got a shot of a motorbike speeding along the beach but not in front of this scene which was at the far end of the beach.
3. Went as far as one could go up this coast to the start of the Heaphy Track, a 5 day event for silly people!
@vignouse I can see you pointing your finger at me when you say this! Perhaps I won’t do that ten mile run down the beach! .....as if I could when totally healthy!
