Chirp chirp

Gradually catching up with the date. Took photos each day but couldn't post them during this time.
This is a large Wetland Area where one is supposed to see birds- I saw and heard this chaffinch and caught sight of a couple of Paradise Ducks but thats all.
Bird looks a bit better when using the Big Black to view.
Three good things;
1. Picked up my Macbook in Dunedin with a new battery that cost the earth but not as much as a new MacBook!
2. A pub lunch - our pubs are not the same as English pubs - pretty ordinary.
3. Homeward bound.
Beautiful view! All my birding friends say that to see the birds you must rise with the sun and I guess that's fairly true as my bird feeder is pretty active in the earlier morning hours. I like how you'ver featured the bird front and center- it does make him stand out.

It is a beautiful pastel scene and the bird is subtle but nicely pops out once you know to look.
