Fuchsia dripping

The organisation of your retirement years must be carefully organised! As little gardening using weed mat, and people who mow your lawns, plenty of freezer space for buying stuff on special …. and totally ignoring the mess in the garage/manshed!
This photo was one of our fuchsia bushes, tiny flowers dropping off on to the driveway in a wide circle of pink!
Three Good Things:
1. Slept in -both of us!
2. Made up all the spare beds - even ironed the top of the top sheet!!
3. Icecreams at half time - it could be any half time of course!

But I like gardening, it is something I love doing more of now that I've retired. Nice fuchsia.

I’m with you. Gardening in raised beds might still be possible. Or plucking fruit from trees and vines that grow more wild each summer.

Ironing sheets???? Life's too short. Love the rest of your TGT, especially the ice-cream bit. Pretty little fuschia too. I find ignoring mess is a great aid to my mental state.

I like your rule for retirement! Sounds like you & John have cracked it! I agree whole heartedly but must wait a bit before quite up to you.....I always iron sheets but not for much longer when I stop b&b!
