Not the Japanese Connection
Of course my daughter in law is Japanese and that’s a major connection.
I loved the Japanese anemones and bought two but… this is not one!
It looks as beautiful but is a large bush that grows high in a conical shape.

@beryl@busylady Thank you ladies! Not a camellia either - I have four and the leaves don't look like that. The leaves are very stiff and curve downward.
I had not thought of the roof line looking like a witch's hat, but it does! At least at that angle it does.
