Heavy winds once again. I took this solitary poppy having been whipped about the whole day! It popped up as they do, just underneath our bedroom window.
In addition - outside on the berm we have/had old rowan trees. This week one branch cracked on to the ground- the lawn mowers actively avoided mowing under it. Then yesterday more wind and another huge branch fell down! John rang the council and today - both trees taken down, no mess, very efficient work.
