Anenome by maggiemae

Anenome

If I'm not careful this word can get away with me and I will be going..nomenomenoe! This Japanese one is one of two. The white one is so prolific and lasts for ages.
Thankful for:
Connecting with those who are on their own - us lucky ones being in a couple, have to remember!
A gorgeous healthy plant. Yes - a good community looking after each other.

I’ve been calling my single friends often. One celebrated her birthday yesterday, in her apartment all by herself. I called her twice. Sang happy birthday to her voice mail which I’m sure made her laugh.

One of my favourite autumn plants. It's obviously very happy in your garden to produce that many flowers Maggiemae. Super capture with the vignette.

Yes must be hard to live alone in such times! Anenome is quite a hard word to get right...I used to pronounce it all wrong! My grandsons new wife comes from a town in USA called Menomonie, Wisconson....very similar!! These are very pretty, would love them in the garden!

Love the floral display. Your comment re people who live alone is very pertinent to these awful times. I'm trying to keep in contact with several I know.
