I'm glad that the camera caught the slight blue in these 'nuts'. On a tree beside the pavement where I walked to send postcards. Many older members of our family do not have computers.
Thankful for:
Finished my Dick Francis book. Not sure whether I am pleased to get through the violence or sad I don't have another as good book!
Great shot! I believe those are juniper or cedar berries and the cedar waxwing birds love to eat those. You can look them up when you have time. Hi Maggiemae! So nice to see your photo with your sweet face this morning.
Always sad when you finish a good book...you rush to the end then you think, oh dear I’ve finished it & hopefully find one as good!
These nuts as you call then do show up really blue, could almost be blueberries at a quick glance!
really lovely composition with the foreground bokeh and those shining nuts. Life without a computer today must be very difficult - but letters and cards through the post are a delight.
@marlboromaam Wow - you are a blast from the past! You are the one who encouraged me to keep on keeping on! I will never forget you! I hope you are well?
i just finished 9 books since last week, a series called glass and steele by c.j. archer. never read her work before but i got hooked with this series. the 10th book will only come in september. by then i would have to re-read the whole series again. there's a lot of free books in amazon kindle and most of them are very good.
i've always wondered what this plant is called. there's lots of it in the parks and near the beaches. your camera got the real colours. aces!
