I have been providing food for the birds around us for a while. Sweet for the native and ordinary for the other birds. The bird noise is quite loud in the mornings. This is a little ring-eye about to dive in to this honey water.

This small bird house is too small for the aggressive larger birds and its fun to watch them perch around , think awhile . . then decide quite wisely they would get caught in this small space.
I always love the look of this little bird, it’s eyes are quite striking. Not a bird we see in the UK. I hate the big birds coming & frightening the small ones away so your small table is ideal. We have one around the same size but have hanging feeders hanging from it...we do t tend to put much actually inside except the odd remains of broken biscuits.
@maggiemae We don’t have any birds that would eat/drink sweet stuff like that.....well I think they would eat anything if you put it out but no birds such as humming birds etc.
